Savasta Medical Services is an on-location medical services company for Fire Departments, Engine & Ladder Companies, Volunteer Corps and EMS providers located in Nassau & Suffolk Counties, Long Island. Savasta Medical Services brings a full team to department facilities to conduct examinations for Chiefs, Firefighters, Volunteers, EMS Members and Administrative Staff. Since 2009, Dr. Joseph Savasta, MD and his Savasta Medical Services team has been providing on-location medical services to departments on Long Island. Dr. Joseph Savasta, MD specializes in Internal and Emergency Medicine and has more than 20 years experience in FIT FOR DUTY exams.
Savasta Medical Services examines all members, staff & volunteers through an integrated and efficient team approach. We work to ensure compliance with state and federal standards and all of our examinations are conducted according to NFPA, OSHA and PESH regulations. We guarantee completion of all scheduled sign-off forms and offer the convenience of providing members with all statements and required paperwork.
Savasta Medical Services are available on evenings and weekends to provide members with complete medical examinations. Occasionally, we have designated locations during the month where individual members may complete their examinations when they missed evaluations at their respective departments. Our organization is bulit on long-lasting relationships where communication is paramount. Our committment to the men and women who protect and build our communities is foundational.
